Land acknowledgment #
We gather on the stolen, unceded lands of the K’ómoks First Nation, forcibly taken through violence, deception, and ongoing colonization. The Pentlatch, Kwakwaka’wakw, and Coast Salish peoples have resisted erasure for generations, despite the genocide and displacement wrought by settler invasion. This is not a past injustice—it is a present reality. Land acknowledgments are empty without restitution. We demand the return of Indigenous land, water, and sovereignty. We commit to dismantling colonial systems, centering Indigenous leadership, and fighting for decolonization—not just in words, but in relentless action.
